Crescent Heights Academy is an independent day school located in Surrey, BC. With 672 students from K-12 in 2026, our population will grow to 720 students in the following few years. Our aim is to provide students with an inclusive community, a challenging academic education with a focus on our students’ character, emphasizing critical and compassionate thinking and a life-long love of learning.

Our school has a vibrant, close-knit family atmosphere where students are known and cared for; we seek candidates that value the professional and appropriate connections with students and their families and understand that every child matters. Plans have begun to build a 110,000 square foot state-of-the art facility on the current Senior Campus site with an eye to provide our students with an environment that supports our mission of building future ready students. Crescent Heights Academy is a place of lifelong learning. We are committed to professional development and provide opportunities each year for teachers to pursue an area of interest that will help develop their skills as teachers, leaders and mentors. Examples include

Primary Years Program

The IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) is designed for students in kindergarten through Grade 5. It focuses on nurturing and developing young learners as caring and active participants in their learning journey. The PYP aims to cultivate a lifelong love of learning and encourage student engagement.

Middle Years Program

The MYP is a rigorous educational framework designed for students in Grades 6-9. It aims to foster practical connections between academic studies and real-world applications. Through inquiry-based learning, students develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills, preparing them for future success.

Advanced Placement

The Advanced Placement (AP) program offers college-level courses to high school students in Grades 10-12. These courses allow students to earn college credit and demonstrate their academic abilities to prospective colleges and universities. AP courses cover a wide range of subjects and provide a challenging academic experience.
