Food Programs

Healthy options for growing minds

The hot lunch program at CHA is available to all learners and faculty as an optional offering. We work with outside vendors to provide a diverse selection of lunch options for our community five-days per week.

Our lunch options range from $8-15 per day and cater to various dietary and palate preferences. All proceeds generated from our hot lunch programs benefit our annual fund.

Order Hot Lunch

Ready to order? Login to our lunch ordering system, or create your account by accessing the options below.

What costs can be expected?

Most lunches cost from $8-15 per day, depending on the selection. You can choose from 1 small item, such as a drink, or side, or you can order an entire meal.

Do you have vegetarian options?

Each day, our menu offers a variety of dietary options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. We also have gluten-free items available to accommodate different dietary needs and preferences.

Do parents needs to pack snacks?

Hot lunch is delivered at lunch-time, so additional snacks should be packed for your child. This will ensure they have enough to eat throughout the day and stay focused on their studies.

Where do the students eat their lunch?

At our school, all classes eat lunch in their homeroom classroom with their teacher and classmates. Hot lunches are delivered to the homeroom, and the teacher distributes the orders. This allows for a convenient and efficient lunchtime routine for all students.

How are the items delivered?

The campus receives all items just before lunch, and they are individually wrapped for take-home. This ensures convenience and safety for students and staff.

How do I order?

All parents and staff have the option to pre-purchase items up to one week before the final cut-off date for all new orders and alterations. This policy allows for efficient planning and ensures timely delivery of items.

What if my child is absent, but I ordered them lunch?

In the event of a student absence, all ordered items are available for pick-up upon request. Any uncollected orders will be given away as this is a fundraiser, and refunds for uncollected lunches are not provided. It is important to make arrangements for pick-up to ensure that the items are not given away.

My child has food allergies, how is this managed?

For all students who have severe life-threatening allergies or conditions, we require a medical plan and parent supplied emergency treatment. Our school is nut-aware, meaning that any food that enters our building must not contain any traces of nuts or tree nuts. These may include, peanuts, hazelnuts, pistachios, almonds, pine nuts, and more.

For parents providing treats to the classroom, we ask that parents confirm with the homeroom teacher before delivery, as some students have other severe allergies.
