Equality, Belonging, Respect, and Success
School uniforms promote equality by eliminating the pressure to wear certain clothing. This fosters a sense of unity and equality among students. It helps in creating a cohesive environment and reduces social barriers based on clothing choices, leading to a more inclusive school community. By wearing the same uniform, children develop a stronger sense of group identity and understand the value of teamwork. This can help them focus on common goals rather than individual objectives, fostering a sense of community within the school. Students learn the importance of dressing for success and are thought to contribute in a positive way to their attitude and behaviour in school. Uniforms have been found to play a role in promoting a sense of discipline and focus among students. By associating their uniform with learning, students are better prepared for the school day. This creates a positive mindset and can contribute to improved behaviour and attitude in the school environment.
Uniforms provide a sense of belonging and community
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Cambridge Uniforms and CHA Collection for our uniform needs. We recommend that parents purchase their child’s uniform several months in advance to ensure availability and proper fitting.
In addition to our standard uniform policy, our school offers optional “dress down” days where students can choose to wear non-uniform items in exchange for a $2.00 donation. All proceeds collected throughout the school year are donated to a local charity in need. We also celebrate ‘Spirit Weeks’ and cultural holidays, during which students and staff are encouraged to dress in attire reflecting a cultural observance or festive style, with themes led by student-leadership.

Formal Sweaters & Blazers Only
We are pleased to partner with Cambridge Uniforms for all our formal sweaters and senior student blazers. Items include cardigans, vests, pullovers, and blazers. Please create an account with Cambridge to view the available items.

Formal, Semi-Formal and P.E. Items
CHA Collection provides all the necessary uniforms items except the sweaters and blazers. Visit their store location near the Langey-Surrey border just off Fraser Highway.
Student Supplies
Students in grades 10-12 are required to source basic supplies, to view the list of required supplies for grade 10 to 12, visit this link.
Students in Kindergarten to grade 9 are provided all learning materials and supplies.
Technology
Students in grades 8-12 must be equipped with a laptop or an tablet computer with a keyboard and wi-fi internet capabilities.
Students in Kindergarten to Grade 7 are not required to purchase any laptops, or tablets, but certain teachers may require headphones to be brought from home and kept in the classroom.
The cost of the essential items for each family varies depending on the specific items chosen and the quantity needed. Common items like black pants, socks, and white shirts can also be found from other vendors. Families should budget for at least $200 to cover the cost of these essentials. The final cost will depend on individual preferences and needs.
We have established partnerships with two suppliers for our official uniforms. The cha collection is responsible for providing all items except for the sweaters and blazers, which are supplied by Cambridge Uniforms. This allows us to ensure high-quality, cohesive uniforms for our learners.
Students in grades k-5 will come dressed in their Phys Ed uniform on P.E. days, and wear the items all day.
For students in grades 6-12, the Phys Ed uniform is to be brought to school on P.E. days and changed into-out of. If the student has P.E. within the first two blocks of the day, they may wear the Phys Ed uniform to school until P.E. class is over.
Some of the unfirom items are considered semi-formal, and may be worn in place of other items. To see the semi formal items, look at our uniform guide or use the filterable gallery below.
Formal days are days where the student does not have P.E. class and/or a day where we host assemblies, photo sessions, concerts, ceremonies, or exhibitions.
On formal days, student are not permitted to wear any semi-formal items, and must be outfitted with a tie and a white-collared shirt.
Each Monday is a formal day due to the assembly in the afternoon. *If your child is in grades K-5, they may wear their Phys. Ed uniform to assembly. However, students in grades 6-12 are expected to dress formally at all assemblies.
See our calendar for specific days in which dressing down is an option. Each month we plan at least one day of non-uniform agency.
Students are expected to dress in their appropriate uniform on all other days.
