Crescent Heights Academy maintains small, intentionally capped class sizes. Research shows that smaller classes promote stronger teacher–student relationships, individualized learning, and higher levels of student engagement and success.

As our student body progresses into the upper grades, class sizes will continue to be structured with three divisions per grade. Enrollment projections indicate that by the 2026–27 school year, our total student population will surpass 720.

School rankings in British Columbia are published by an independent organization called the Fraser Institute. Each year, students in Grades 4 and 7 across the province complete standardized assessments known as the Foundation Skills Assessments (FSAs), which measure core skills in reading, writing, and numeracy.

The Fraser Institute uses these FSA results—along with other publicly available data—to calculate a weighted score and determine each school’s ranking. Elementary schools are ranked out of approximately 1,000 schools, while secondary schools are ranked out of roughly 250 across British Columbia.

As of October 28, 2025, Crescent Heights Academy proudly holds the #1 ranking among 1,051 schools in British Columbia. This ranking is shared with 23 other schools in BC. Our students continue to excel, achieving literacy and numeracy scores within the 96th to 100th percentiles.

Crescent Heights Academy operates with an annual budget based on anticipated enrollment and follows a lean, responsible financial model. We believe that quality education should be accessible to all students, regardless of socio-economic background.

In addition to annual tuition and government grants, we rely on fundraising initiatives and community support to help fund non-operational and enrichment expenses. While we ask families to consider a minimum annual donation of $200, contributions are entirely voluntary, and families are encouraged to give in ways that align with their personal means.
