To be known at CHA is foundational to all that we are. We hope to have the opportunity to get to know you and your child and for you to get to know us and what we can offer you as a family. At our school, we provide various opportunities for prospective students and their families to learn more about our campus and programs. We offer Open Houses, group tours, and virtual tours to accommodate different preferences and schedules. These events allow individuals to explore our facilities, meet faculty and staff, and gain insight into our academic offerings. We encourage anyone interested in learning more about our school to take advantage of these opportunities.
Our learners share the responsibility of ensuring a safe environment that values diversity and different perspectives. We are defined by the bravery of our words and deeds, which are based on integrity, empathy, and respect. Our inquiring problem solvers use their knowledge and skills for the benefit of others.
Our campuses are often described as having a warm community atmosphere due to our small class sizes. With a maximum average of 3 classes per grade beginning with 18 students in the early-years and increasing to 22 in the middle years, everyone is a familiar face.
Applications for the 2027–28 school year are now open! If your child was born in 2022, they’re eligible to apply for Kindergarten.

We have a seasoned Learning Strategies support team that assists students with a wide range of academic, social, and emotional needs. While we provide support, students are expected to demonstrate a level of independence. Please note that CHA is not structured to provide 1:1 support throughout the school day.
When applying, please submit as many reports and assessments as possible, as full transparency regarding a student’s needs is an important part of the application process. When admitting new students, our primary focus is on maintaining the supports required by our current learners, which can vary significantly from year to year.
We accept international students from a variety of backgrounds. Crescent Heights Academy does not provide ELL classes. It is expected that all students have a good understanding of written and spoken English.
It’s difficult to determine an exact “chance” of enrollment, as many factors influence the admissions process. All currently enrolled students are given the opportunity to re-enroll for the upcoming school year, and this process is completed by mid-February. New offers of enrollment depend on the intake year for each grade level as well as the natural attrition that occurs annually. While some grades rely solely on attrition to create space, we typically welcome new students into most grade levels each year.
Admission to Crescent Heights Academy is both competitive and equitable. All applicants are required to complete and pass an academic entrance assessment to determine suitability for our programs. Families of students who meet the academic criteria are then invited to a parent interview, which helps us further understand alignment with CHA’s educational philosophy, school values, and commitment to community involvement.
