Applications for the 2027–28 school year are now open! If your child was born in 2022, they’re eligible to apply for Kindergarten.
To get started, simply submit an inquiry and then join us for a campus tour. We encourage you to book early—spaces fill up quickly, and we’d love to welcome your family to experience all that Crescent Heights Academy has to offer!

Campus tours are included in the Open Houses but have limited availability, if a tour is no longer available please meet us at an Open House.
Please note: there are no tours or open houses during the summer or after the application deadline.
Submit an inquiry form with your contact details and student information. When applications are open for the selected grade level we’ll connect you with a user account and access to the application form.
In preparation for submitting your application, several required documents must be uploaded along with the application form:
The Teacher Evaluation Form should be sent to the student’s current preschool or homeroom teacher. The teacher will complete the form and submit it directly to CHA confidentially.
Login to your MySchool user account and complete the application form and upload all the required documents.
After completing the application form, the online payment will be available. All applications must be paid online before the application is considered submitted.
The application fee is $300
Shortly after we receive your completed application form, supporting documents, and application fee, our team will begin processing the application.
Please do not email additional documents after submitting your application. If any documents are missing or if we receive incomplete or incorrect information, you will be contacted and provided with instructions for resubmission.
Once the student’s application has been processed and all required documents have been received, parents will be asked to complete a brief questionnaire. After submitting the questionnaire, you will receive instructions on how to book the virtual parent interview.
Please note: It is recommended that both parents attend the interview. Students should not be present.
All students are required to attend an assessment session at Crescent Heights Academy. Kindergarten applicants are assessed in a group, mock-class setting, while applicants to Grades 1–12 complete an exam-style assessment on the same day. All assessments are based on the student’s current grade-level learning outcomes.
Please note: Local students who do not attend the main assessment day are typically placed on the waitlist, so attending is highly recommended.
Applicants who live outside the area may complete their assessment virtually.

Parents will receive an admission decision letter through their MySchool account. The possible outcomes can include an offer of admission, a waitlist offer, or a decline of admission. All decisions are final, and assessment results are not shared with the family. Admission to Crescent Heights Academy is highly competitive and based on a variety of criteria. If you have any questions about the admission process, please contact our admissions office for more information. We are not able to discuss the number of siblings, applications or chances of admission with parents.
To ensure a smooth and efficient process when contacting our office, please have your application number ready. This number helps us locate your child's information promptly.
Please note that, in accordance with our privacy policies, we can only discuss application details with the legal guardians listed in the initial application. This measure ensures the confidentiality and security of your child's information.
Decision Dates
Kindergarten 2027: Beginning on January 25th
Note: All spaces are filled on a rolling-basis until all spaces are confirmed
Grades 1-12 2027: Beginning on February 8th
Applications are submitted for a single grade in a given year and remain active for one year. They can be extended for an additional year if needed. To extend an application into a second year, applicants on the waitlist will receive a notice of extension, or you can inform the admissions coordinator in writing.
Applications can be withdrawn at any time by the person who submitted them, though please note that application fees are non-refundable. All applications and supporting documents are stored digitally for eight years.
There’s no limit to the number of years a candidate may apply to the School. Please keep in mind that all admission decisions are final and not open to appeal.
An applicant is considered a sibling and given sibling status if they are the sibling of a current student or the child of a faculty member at Crescent Heights Academy. This includes step-siblings—whether legally recognized or not—and half-siblings. Sibling status is not granted if the sibling previously withdrew from the School or was asked to leave for any reason. If a candidate qualifies for sibling status, they are given preference over non-sibling applicants, as long as they meet the criteria outlined in our admissions policy. That said, being waitlisted as a sibling does not guarantee an offer if a space becomes available. In cases where there are multiple siblings applying to the same grade, admission is selective and competitive. Decisions are made based on the evaluation criteria set out in our admissions policy, ensuring each applicant is considered fairly.
When we review an application, we consider a variety of factors to understand each student fully. We look at the student’s character and how it reflects our learner profile, as well as their curiosity, engagement, and love of learning. Equally important is the family’s commitment to an independent school education and how well they connect with Crescent Heights Academy’s philosophy and mission. Academic performance and potential are also taken into account, alongside the student’s ability to contribute positively and safely to our community. When applicable, sibling status is considered as well. Altogether, these factors give us a holistic view of each student and family, helping us welcome them thoughtfully into our school community.
When it comes to admissions, Crescent Heights Academy does not consider factors like race, color, ancestry, place of origin, sexual orientation, or religion of either the child or the parent/guardian. We also do not take into account age (except for Kindergarten applicants), political affiliation, financial status, or the marital or social status of the parent/guardian(s). Connections or affiliations with other members of our school community are also not a factor.
We are committed to welcoming students with learning differences, mental health concerns, or physical disabilities, as long as we are able to provide the support they need and have the appropriate space to accommodate them.

In an ideal world, we could accept all students who are considering enrollment. However, we only have a certain number of spaces, and we historically have had significant interest in our programmes. In order to keep your waitlist application active, it is necessary for the student to attend the annual assessment session in February. This ensures that the student’s information is up-to-date and that they remain in consideration for program placement. Waitlisted applicants may receive offers of enrollment if a space becomes available in our program. These offers remain valid for 1 additional year before a new application is necessary. We prioritize waitlisted applicants when openings arise, and encourage them to remain on the waitlist for the duration of their eligibility. We strive to accommodate as many qualified candidates as possible through this process.
Students who receive a decline of admission are welcome to re-apply for the next academic year.
